For twenty years I was a full-time potter with my own studio, One Sky Pottery. I was successful in winning regional and national awards; placing pottery in regional and national collections; and was featured in Pottery Tour. When arthritis in my neck necessitated giving up ceramics, I was at a crossroads. I knew I could not work any longer with the physical demands of clay but I had not planned to give it up and had no idea what to do next.

I have always loved fabric and “stuff.” For years I collected vintage little odds and ends of things that caught my attention: some kind of funky toy, an art deco button, a silly salt and pepper shaker. I decided to combine the love of cloth and “stuff” and create a new kind of art.

As you will see, I have been very busy the last five years. I have received numerous grants and scholarships; been featured in "Arts Across Kentucky" and "Today's Woman" and featured on the show "Mixed Media." I have exhibited as far away as Berlin, Germany where my work was picked as the icon for the 2004 International Show of Assemblage Artists.

My work can be seen in Louisville, Kentucky at Pyro Gallery.

I am available for commissions and corporate purchases.
